National Parks and a Mammoth Center

Today we saw a lot but didn't drive as much, and for that I am grateful!  Another gorgeous day that ended in thunderstorms but we were grateful for the clear, warm weather for most of the day!

We started our day with a tour of a cave in Wind Cave National Park!

Ranger Danielle showing the natural entrance into the cave (luckily, we didn't go in that way)

Views from inside the cave

As we left Wind Cave National Park, we ran into this beauty of a bison!

Gorgeous view!

After a yummy, down-home lunch in Hot Springs, we stopped at the Mammoth Site.

It was a sink hole where they found many mammoth fossils

It is still an active fossil-dig site today!

Then we headed to Custer State Park to see different wildlife!
