Nabeul and Korba

Mom and Dad arrived Saturday at noon!  They are in Tunisia with me!!!  I have missed them greatly and am loving to spend this time with them!  As soon as I picked them up from airport, we headed to Nabuel (the pottery capital of Tunisia).

We stopped for lunch and had a Tunisian staple: brik (crispy fried with egg, tuna, and spices)

Then we walked around Nabuel and found some blue doors!

A mosque

Then we headed to the medina in Nabuel (an outdoor market)

The big pot in the middle of the city center of Nabuel

We then left Nabuel and headed to our hotel in Korba: Africa Jade

We checked into our room and headed straight to the Mediterranean Sea

Mom didn't go out for fear of getting sand in her shoes... oh goodness!

Busy Day in Rome

Here it finally is!  My last Rome post on my last full day in Rome!  We jammed pack a lot in one this day and while the weather was a little touch and go at the beginning, it ended up being a gorgeous day!

We started our day off with a walk to the Vatican!

Then we walked over a fun bridge

We did lots of walking and found this cute area with artists

and kids on a field trip

and people showing off!

We finally made it to the Pantheon

Then we hopped on a bus and went to this gorgeous park that also had a zoo!!  WAHOO!!

We saw giraffes,

deer like animals,

meerkats,

seals,

lions,

pygmy hippos,

and this eating elephant!

Loved this big pink bunny as we were leaving the zoo!

More shots of the gorgeous park!

Then as we walked out of the park, we found this spot with gorgeous view of Rome!

After hauling a stroller down a loooooong flight of stairs, Kate and I were rewarded with a nutella crepe!

We continued on to the Spanish Steps

We found the Babington's Tea Room

We finally made it to the Trevi Fountain

Caleb tossed a coin in the fountain so he can come back to Rome again! ;)

We started our journey back to our quiet, sweet neighborhood

My favorite part of my whole trip... Caleb finally got his pepperoni pizza! :)

My last photo with my loves before heading back to Tunis

Thank you Boyers for letting me join a leg of your trip!  I had an amazing time and it meant the world to me!!
