This morning we got up bright and early to catch a train to go to Sintra, which was 30 minutes from Lisbon. It is a sweet little town known for Pina Palace, this gorgeous palace on a hill surround surrounded by gardens.

After we toured the palace, we headed into town (so cute!) and found this.. Bristol Restaurant! How perfect for Jeanne and Patti!
We stopped for lunch in the pouring rain, where I got this traditional stew with a variety of fun meat
Then we walked and shopped through the rest of the adorable town
Stopped for Ginja shots (cherry liquor) in chocolate cups
LOOK! No rain and clouds!
Then we boarded the train to head back to Lisbon!
