On Thursday, I went to my friend Aoutef's house for a meat cook-off dinner! It was basically where everyone would marinate meat and then people would decide which was the best. But we were so hungry when it was finally time to eat that there was no judging... just eating! I did not take many picture but thought I would share what I did take.

Annette, her husband Mike, Tamara, and Aoutef's husband cooking meat. Annette and Mike have lived here for quite sometime and they are both photographers. Their housekeeper is also my housekeeper and Annette speaks Arabic so she translates for me whenever I need her to relay a message to Kalthum.
