And the rest of our trip...

So time for some more honesty (I'm jet-lagged sitting waiting for my last flight so that may be part of it)... ;) I have waited way too long to post these pictures and now I do not remember the name of the towns or the places we went to! So I have just decided to post them all (no organization like I normally do) and will put captions next to pictures I remember. It is way past time to have these pictures up so just make up where we were and what we were doing! HA! Know we traveled around the Provence area of Southern France. And we saw lots of quaint little towns with the sweetest door, windows, shutters and flowers! I could not resist taking pictures!

Sweet small town in the hills... there were not a lot of shops open but it was a sweet town

This fabric is known for this region... colorful and beautiful!

This awesome bridge that they built to cross the river but part of it was destroyed by floods

Loved this roadside stand filled with food from Provence

Walled City

You could walk the walls but we decided not to

Oh I remember the name of this aqudect... Pont de Gard! It was a neat sight and cool to walk across the first layer!

The view from the top of the aqueduct

Sweet church in Arles- where we were staying

Loved this square in Arles

On Saturday, we went to the market in the center of Arles- it had so many interesting things!

Then we walked around the amphitheater (lots of Roman ruins in Arles)

Love the cutesy towns!

Then we walked around the Colosseum where they still hold events today!

Afterwards, we walked around Arles some more as we headed to our apartment for a yummy lunch we picked up at the market!

After lunch, we went to an old quarry where they now project art onto the quarry walls. It was the coolest thing ever! The walls were so big so the art was magnificent!

After our art viewing, we went to this other sweet town that was having a carnival and parade! How cool!

Back in Arles for dinner!

On Sunday before flying out, we went to his sweet waterside town! Oh these buildings were the prettiest I have seen our entire trip!

We also saw a rowing competition while we were there! How cool!

My final meal in Provence was octopus! So yummy!
