First week back in Tunis

Man I have been a bad blogger! I spent my last week in the states at appointments and packing. Last Friday, mom and I left for Tunisia and landed on Saturday.  We spent most of the week setting up my new house and classroom. Mom was an amazing help and I loved spending so much time with her!  Here are some random pictures from our week...

My living room the first night we got home... suitcases everywhere

Mom and I the next morning... jet lag mostly behind us! :)

First room done all thanks to mom!

My front door (and adorable pup)

Monday morning mom and I headed to the market before going into work. Morning time is definitely when to go to the market... no one was there! It was great to see my market guys again!

Proud of all the things we hung in the living room

Too fun bulletin boards... we are the Radcliff Rabbits this year!

On Thursday, we headed to La Marsa for shopping and dinner! See the sea behind us?

For dinner, we ate at my favorite restaurant in Tunisia.  I don't know the name but I call it the yellow door restaurant.

The inside of it... I love the atmosphere!

While I was at meetings on Friday, mom went to the roof of one of our buildings and took some pictures.  I love the views!

Mom and Zoe took a selfie before she flew off to head home

On morning, a friend of mine took a pic of mom and me in my car. Mom loved driving here!

Saturday after meet the teacher, Laura and Angie met me in my room and we were going to walk to lunch together.  As I was packing up, I discovered the two f them sitting in my reading center on my prek sized couch! Too cute!

Mom, it meant the world to me to have you come and spend a week with me in Tunis! I loved spending time with you and truly appreciate all your help in setting up my classroom and house! I am so excited both are done and it could not be done without you! I love you to the moon and back!
