Life around Tunis

So life continues to be happily boring but to keep you happy here are some pictures. ;)

This was our weather a week ago (hello... September?!) and it was miserable! Not only was it hot, it was crazy humid which is not common for here.

They have taco makings at Carrfour now here are my tacos! Taste of "America"! Yum!

Sidi Bou Said Stroll

Today I had to run an errand to a cute shop I adore in Sidi Bou Said! While I was up there I thought I would walk around since the weather wasn't that hot.  Sidi Bou is a very touristy area known for their blue doors and view of the Mediterranean.  Great Saturday stroll for sure!

Walk to Sidi Bou Park and Birthday Celebration!

On Sunday in the 90 degrees plus heat, Zoe and I walked to Sidi Bou park with two of my friends and their kids.  It was a very hot walk but a lot of fun with friends! Zoe was so well behaved (she was great with the kids and didn't snap at my friends, I also let her off the leash at the park and she didn't run off)! We had a great time chatting and enjoying the empty park!

Worst Blogger Ever!

So I am offically the worst blogger ever! I am so sorry I have not blogger but the honest truth is, I have had nothing to really blog about. I am getting into quite a routine that is honestly not that exciting! Works for me but not much to blog about! So I went through my phone and thought I would post some random pictures I took.  Sorry it is not exciting!

Saw this on school campus when walking to my classroom... too sweet!

My house from the other side of the road.  I live in a gated community at the end so this is the wall and I was standing on the other side.  It was fun to see it from another point of view!

I washed my car at 9:00pm on a Tuesday night after Open House at school (Crazy, right? But it was going in to be inspected the next day and our cars have to be clean to pass inspection.)

On the way home from work, someone rear ended me (I was stopped at a stop sign) and didn't even flinch! He was lighting his cigarette... obviously that was more important!  But luckily, I got home and my car looked untouched!

They have Mexican food (small selection but still) at Carrefour!

And feta cheese!!

Classroom Tour!

On Sunday, I stopped by work to get some things done and I thought it would be the perfect time to take some pictures!  Everything is set up for centers on Monday so ignore the things on the tables.  Come see my PreK classroom!
